Under the direction of Vlad Vizireanu, the University Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Players will present their annual fall concert on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall on the UCSB campus. The program will include Ludwig van Beethoven's Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus, Op. 43; Zoltán Kodály's Dances of Galanta; Felix Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Op. 26; and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Capriccio Italien, Op. 45. Directed by Robert Koenig, winners of the quarterly UCSB Chamber Music Competition will perform as the UCSB Chamber Players and open the first half of the concert with works by Johannes Brahms, Ludwig van Beethoven, César Franck, and Ernst von Dohnányi.
