Each quarter, the University Chamber Orchestra presents an exciting program of pieces from the traditional chamber orchestra repertoire, as well as more contemporary pieces for chamber orchestra. Students participate in full-ensemble rehearsals each week, as well as sectionals, when needed. Open to majors, non-majors, faculty, and community members. Membership determined by audition.
Auditions for UCSB Chamber Orchestra will take place in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall on Saturday, September 29, 2018. If all auditions won't fit on Saturday, then Sunday, September 30th will be added. Please sign up early to reserve your audition time.

After submitting the form, and closer to the audition day, you will receive an email from the orchestra Teaching Assistant Britta Thomas with your scheduled time and the details of your audition. Please download and print a corresponding file below with the audition requirements for your instrument. Prepare the excerpts and show up for the audition warmed up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You will receive the result of your audition in an email shortly after the audition date.

UCSB Chamber Orchestra’s first rehearsal will be held in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall on Monday, October 1st , 6:30-9 p.m.
- All new and former UCSB Chamber Orchestra players are required to audition in order to participate in the chamber orchestra in Fall 2018.
