To access Parking Lot 3 if you are traveling from the roundabout (Steck Circle), please turn right onto Channel Islands Road and follow this road until you see the UCEN on your left. Parking Lot 3 should be directly in front of you.

The UCSB University Wind Ensemble’s Winter Concert, entitled "Bach to Bach (and a few points in between),” will feature the Richard Franko Goldman and Robert Leist transcribed Fantasia in G Major, composed by Johann Sebastian Bach for organ in Arnstadt between 1703 and 1707. The concert will end with the Grand Serenade for an Awful Lot of Winds and Percussion (S. 1000) composed by P.D.Q. Bach (1807-1742)? and "tastefully adapted to the modern Concert Band by Professor Peter Schickele.” Among works performed between these monuments will be Rocky Point Holiday, composed by Ron Nelson and conducted by Graduate Assistant, Steven Cohen; a World Premiere of Morning Sunrise by student composer, Nick Mazuk; and Charles Macherras’ arrangement of music drawn from Gilbert and Sullivan operettas in a musical spoof entitled Pineapple Poll, Suite from the Ballet. Additional works by Samuel Hazo, Jack Stamp, Michael Markowski, and Paul Hindemith will round out the concert.
