Graduate voice student Molly Clementz (mezzo-soprano) will present a doctoral recital with pianist John Scoville and violist Jordan Warmath on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 6:30 pm in Karl Geiringer Hall. The program will include Gustav Holst's Four songs for Voice and Violin, Francis Poulenc's La Courte Paille, Richard Strauss' Mädchenblumen, as well as selections of works by Carlos Guastavino, Giacomo Puccini, and Gioachino Rossini.
 
Molly Clementz, mezzo-soprano, studies with Dr. Linda Di Fiore and Dr. John Ballerino. This July, she makes her Pacific Opera Project debut as Doralice in La Gazzetta. Molly was the lead of the 2018 CCS TV Musical, Shake on It, a new property produced for her. During the 2016 and 2017 seasons, she was an Opera Santa Barbara featured Studio Artist, singing many roles including Mercédès (Carmen) and Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi). In Joel Feigin’s award-winning Twelfth Night, she performed the lead role, Viola. While studying in Austria she became a 2014 finalist in the AIMS Meistersinger Competition in Graz.
