"Dr. Hellier-Tinoco is a scholar-creative artist and Associate Professor who focuses on Performing Arts (music, theater, dance), Performance Studies, and Cultural Histories. Based in the Music Department, with affiliations in Theater & Dance, Latin American & Iberian Studies, and Feminist Studies, her research and teaching explore questions of power structures, collective (post)memory, and performance-making.
