Jill Felber's newest CD
Jill Felber, known for her stunning performances, has delivered solo recitals, chamber music and concerti on four continents. Premiering over 300 works for flute in chamber music settings, she is active with several commissioning consortiums. Currently Professor of Flute at University of California, Santa Barbara, Jill is in demand as Guest Artist/Teacher at major universities, conservatories and flute societies around the world.
Harpist Jane Rosenson has delighted audiences with her beautiful and engaging performances in the classical, popular, jazz arenas and as a recording artist. Currently the Solo Harpist with Opera Australia, Jane has performed and recorded with numerous ensembles including the Detroit Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic and the Jeff Duff jazz/pop orchestra.
Our collaboration has spanned over many years beginning at the University of Michigan School of Music where we explored the flute and harp repertoire, presenting concert music by contemporary composers and creating our unique arrangements. May you be uplifted and touched, as we were while recording this music in the magnificent Sydney Opera House, as we gazed at the sparkling harbour with the sun dancing over the waves.
