Intermission

With Robin Eubanks

Robin Eubanks is a member of multi-Grammy winning group, The Dave Holland Quintet, and is Assistant Professor of Trombone at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He has also performed with or recorded for Elvin Jones, Mingus Big Band, Eddie Palmieri, the Rolling Stones, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and Slide Hampton, to name a few. Robin has also recorded six albums as a leader and they have all received world-wide critical praise and leads his own groups, which have toured Europe and Japan. In addition to his band "Mental Images," he performs as a "one man band" called, "Robin Eubanks Solo Real Time Project". In this setting he utilizes the acousitc and electric trombone, loops, percussion pads and voice in a solo presentation.
