Andrew Radford is Principal Bassoon of the Santa Barbara Symphony, the California Philharmonic and Music Director of the Ojai Youth Symphony. He has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Music Center Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Pasadena Symphony, New West Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and on the Grammy Awards telecast. Besides recording classical works with several of the preceding groups, he has played on over 150 major motion picture soundtracks such as Forrest Gump, Clear and Present Danger and Back to the Future. Musical Theatre performances include over 800 performances of Phantom of the Opera. Mr. Radford attended the California Institute of the Arts and continued his musical education with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestral Training Program, and several music festivals including the Music Academy of the West, the Aspen Music Festival and the Spoleto Festival.
