Author of Barthold Feind's Gedancken von der Oper: An Early Eighteenth-Century View of Drama and Music, (Brigham Young University Press, 1975), and The Henry Eichheim Collection of Oriental Instruments (1984). Professor Hsu is the Chair of the Ethnomusicology Division and the Director of the Henry Eichheim Collection of Musical Instruments. She is currently on the Advisory Board of 19th-Century Music.
